Matthew "Matt" Oleander

Season 4
Mr. Oleander is the new student teacher in Mr. Simpson's class. Paige quickly takes an interest in him. And come to find out the attraction isn't only one sided. The two decide to form a romantic relationship, but due to the student/teacher relationship they have to keep it secret. When their cover is blown Matt does the "right" thing by coming clean, in turn losing his shot at being a teacher. Matt and Paige decide to keep seeing each other, but Paige is heart broken when Matt can't attend the prom with her.

Season 5
Paige is ecstatic to learn that Mr. Oleander is returning to town from his summer job, but a very different Matt meets her that night for dinner. He changed completely over the summer and he breaks up with Paige in the middle of the restaurant. He also gives her a strange going-away gift; marijuana. This is the last anyone sees of Matt.
