Subplot:
Alex is back at Degrassi to up her marks for University, but with all her friends gone, her social life is taking a beating. To add insult to injury, her new lacrosse teammate is making Alex's life miserable.

Insider Info:
For one reason or another, the-N chose to use their promotion on the subplot of the next episode… something we're pretty sure they haven't done before. This could mean that there will be a strong balance between the A and B plots, or it could just mean the A plot fell flat.

While the premise – Jimmy and Spinner go into business together – could borderline on unoriginal, from the look of clips we've seen in various the-N commercials that may not be the case. Expect a fight scene involving Spinner and Jimmy and some devious other guys. Another surprise is in the first scene of the episode, when Darcy shares her feelings about her and Spinner's relationship gone sour.

As far as the subplot goes, it looks to be interesting as we meet a completely new character and get some more insight into Alex's life. While we're treated to the return of Paige to Toronto, the extent of her stay is unknown. From the look of things she's either going to offer Alex some advice on how to solve her social problems, or only make them worse!
