7/13/2006 - Calling All Writers

 

So you're the biggest fan of Degrassi ever, right? You've seen every episode six times and you know each character better than your best friend. In fact, your best friend hates you because you spend all your time watching Degrassi!

But what about fans of the show who've only seen a few episodes and want to get updated fast? It's time for you to put that knowledge to use, help them out and help out TNGHO at the same time.

If you've noticed, our Character Descriptions page is in some serious NEED of updating. We have a few pages completed, but as you know, Degrassi's halls are full of people and it's hard to keep track of them all. We're hoping to find a few talented writers to help us flesh out the rest of the page, using the same template that we've used for the first few characters.

Take a look and if you think you'd like to help out by writing up the descriptions for any remaining characters, email your descriptions to lordlitwicki@msn.com. All submissions will be subject to the editing/approval of the TNGHO, but anything we use will be credited to the author.

AND! We're also looking for talented writers to help us out with Columns section. We'd love to have DVD reviews for seasons 2 + 3 the upcoming graphic novels or any news/column pieces you can think of and opinion pieces are also always welcome. If you have an idea for a column, please email ideas/submissions to donovan@korn.zzn.com and we will post the best ones on the site, with author credit! (As above, all submissions are subject to TNGHO editing/approval.)

So find a way to spend those long summer hours and start writing for
TNGHO today! If you're interested in journalism, it's a great way to
get some practice and share you work with the world. And even if
you're not, it's DEGRASSI! You can't go wrong!
