11/05/2005 - Exec Approves Of South Of Nowhere
The-N premiered a new original series tonight--'South of Nowhere'. A lot of people have commented on this show ever since the Links came out several weeks ago. Some of The-N's Links have labeled it as "The American Degrassi." The executive producer of Degrassi, Stephen Stohn, posted today that he was at The-N's offices this weekend and he really enjoyed the premiere. Some viewer's of The-N really liked it mentioning how the show had its own twist to it. Others, however, were skeptical claiming that this show is "unoriginal", and an uncanny knock-off of Degrassi.
It's up to you to decide for yourself. New episodes of 'South of Nowhere' air Fridays at 8:30 PM EST, with multiple encores at various times during the weekend, on Viacom's cable television station, The-N.
He also mentioned that while he was at The-N's office they discussed the possible season 6, and some other possibilties for Degarssi next year.
Stephen Stohn's full post is below...
