1/27/2007 - 619 Not End of School Year? Season 7?

Degrassi creator Linda Schuyler was on The N.com's podcast on Friday. In it she talks about JT's death and it's effect on the rest of the season. She goes on to say that they deal with it in depth the rest of season 6 and in fact the end of season 6 will not be the end of the school year. She states season 7 will pick up in the middle of the school year were season 6 left off. Thus the current school year will span two seasons. She went onto say they will still be dealing with the fallout from JT's death through season 7 as well. This tells us that the crew is in fact positive there will be a season 7, leading to the belief that even though a 7th season has yet to be ordered they have confirmation somehow that there will be one some way or another. This also informs us that season 7 should be quite similar to season 6 as we now know the time frame is the same and the current seniors will still yet to have graduated.
