10/18/2006 - Degrassi Cast's Paintings On Ebay
This past year Aubrey Graham, Ryan Cooley, Miriam McDonald, Andrea Lewis, and Mike Lobel from Degrassi did paintings for the Kidney Foundation's "A Brush of Hope" campaign. These paintings will soon go on Ebay, with all proceeds going to kidney research. Research done in Canada is important not only to Canadians, but to ALL people suffering from kidney disease because advancements of this kind are soon shared worldwide.
The masterpieces will go on Ebay on Nov 2 and will be open to bidding until Nov 12. About 100 other celebrities from across Canada are participating, 
including ballerina Karen Kain, Ben Kowalewics from Billy Talent and RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson. In addition, the hockey world is well
represented with, Cassie Campbell, Paul Henderson and Scott Stevens and more all creating paintings to help fight kidney disease.
If you wish to bid on these paintings just type "Kidney Foundation" or the name of the artist to find the paintings or go to the charity section of EBAY.ca starting November 2nd.
