A weekly lesbian pop culture news column ran by AfterEllen.com mentions Degrassi's very own Alex this week.

This week in lesbian TV, a new season of Degrassi: The Next Generation kicked off yesterday {oct. 7th} on The N network, where teenager Alex is rumored to be coming out as a lesbian later this season"

DegrassiTNGHO would hate to be the ones to officially spoil anyone, so for now we'll say very little about this "rumor." Except for the fact that this rumor has a legitimate possibility of being true. But unless afterellen.com knows more about this than we do, we can safely say at this point it is unclear whether Alex will classify herself as gay, straight or neither after what happens....
