12/13/2005 - Degrassi Graphic Novels In 2006

In a somewhat surprising revelation from Comic Book Resources.com it appears that at least some of the new Degrassi merchandise coming out next year will be Graphic Novels, that's right we are going to get Degrassi Comic books. From what we can tell from the picture the series will be called Degrassi: The Next Generation Extra Credit and each volume will center around a character. From what we can tell it appears Volume 1 will star Ellie, Volume 2; JT, and Volume 3; Emma. It is still unknown what exactly the content of these graphic novels will be; whether it redone episodes, expanded stories based from episodes, or even all new stories this is definitely cool news for any Degrassi fan. The books are scheduled to hit store shelves sometime in 2006. As always we will keep you updated as more information is available.
