Degrassi: The Next Generation is a teen drama show that is a continuation of the highly-popular Degrassi franchise. Degrassi is the brain-child of Linda Schyler and Yan Moore. As of now, it is being produced by Linda Schyler and Stephen Stohn. It premiered in Canada in October of 2001. The show has won numerous awards, including the Teen Choice Awards and Canadian Screenwriter Awards. Degrassi: TNG is currently the most popular show on The N, and holds the title of the most watched domestic drama show in Canada. It is currently in its seventh season.
